In our second poll, readers selected Eddie George by a wide margin as the running back on our Titans’ all time team. The following poll ought to be a lot closer.
Who’s the best fullback that has played for Tennessee? Lorenzo Neal (1999-2000) and Ahmard Hall (2006-07) seem to be the best. Sandwiched between their years, Mike Green (2000-02), Greg Comella (2002), Robert Holcombe (2002-04) and Troy Fleming (2004-05) all played the position – sort of. None of those six players was counted on to run the ball. They occasionally caught dump-off passes but rarely had pass plays called for them. Because they seldomly touched the ball, I’m not going to bother to post their meager stats.
LoNeal and Ahmard are both great lead blockers, which make them stand out from the other four. Which one do you prefer to be the fullback on our all-time Titans team?
