It’s been a tough week for the Grizzlies players and their fans, as the team’s brass has made it clear that they’ll be moving toward a full rebuild.
Marc Gasol and Mike Conley Jr. will now be made available for trade up through the deadline, and it appears likely that at least one of them will be moved. Sometime in the next year, this roster is going to be blown up, and the Grizzlies will be tough to watch.
Also tough to watch was the fire that broke out in the sauna of the team’s locker room on Wednesday.
A small electrical fire was discovered in the sauna located in the Grizzlies locker room area and FedExForum was evacuated. Memphis Fire was contacted immediately and the fire has been subsequently extinguished.
