The Colts require their young offensive linemen to be versatile, and that’s been especially true of Linkenbach. In preseason, he started one game at left tackle and another at left guard. Linkenbach made his first regular-season start Sept. 26 at Denver at left tackle, then started at right guard against the Bengals.
“The backups play all the different positions,” he said, “so it’s not that big of a change.”
