Salt Lake – The Bees won again on Wednesday, 10-7. Jeremy Moore showed why he could be a solid big leaguer one day. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs – 1 inside the park. He also added his 14th stolen base of the year. He is hitting .295 with a .864 OPS currently. Hank Conger chipped in with 2 hits of his own, finishing 2-4 with a RBI and walk. Michael Kohn added his 10th save of the year with a perfect 9th inning, adding 2 strike outs.
Arkansas – It was a pitchers duel in Little Rock on Wednesday, with the Travs edging it out 1-0 in 10 innings. Van Mil making a spot start for Richards, went 5 innings 2 hits 0 runs with 2 punch outs and 0 walks, lowering his ERA to 2.12. Don’t be surprised if we see Van Mil sooner rather than later. Christian Scholl is expected to be stretched out for the rest of the season in Arkansas as a starter. The only bright spot offensively was…You guessed it, Mike Trout. Mike went 2-5 with a single and a walk off double in the bottom of the 10th. Trout is hitting .343 since being sent back down.

Inland Empire – Off
Cedar Rapids – The Kernals lost again, 2-0. Rolando Gomez had half of the team’s hits going 2-4 with a double. Beau Brooks tossed 2 scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 2.33. Not much to report here, tonight.
Orem – The Owlz fell to Ogden 6-5, snapping a 5 game winning streak. Lindsey and Jones were once again most of the offense. Lindsey went 2-5 with another double, his 18th. Jones was 3-5 with a double and his 9th home run of the year. All of the pitcher’s had poor performances on the mound.
AZL Angels – The AZL Angels won a slugfest, 11-10. Chevy Clarke continues to rake at the plate, going 3-3 with 2 home runs and a triple. Jackson Whitley also stayed hot, 2-5 tonight. Catcher Jett Bandy also was a big hitter tonight going 2-5 with 2 doubles. He is hitting .317.
