The Los Angeles Rams will be hosting their second home game of the season as they look to increase their record to 4-1 Sunday. Many never thought the Rams would be even close to winning four games this season, but they are proving everybody wrong.
This Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, is more than just a game. This game will practically be a foreshadow on the Rams season. Looking back at the past three seasons for the Rams, the team is known for going on random losing and winning streaks.
2013 Season
The 2013 season was another roller coaster managed by head coach Jeff Fisher. Once again, first week huge win against rivals Arizona Cardinals, yet he failed to pull out victories in winnable games against the Falcons and 49ers. By looking at the results, both wins and losses were followed by a streak of some sort. The Rams are currently riding a three game winning streak, a loss at home against a 2-2 Bills team could turn the train around.
2014 Season
Another season that confused me. Somehow Fisher managed to pull of upset victories against the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos but lose games to teams like the Chargers, 49ers, and Giants.
2015 Season
Once again the Rams started the season off with a huge win against the Seattle Seahawks. “This is going to be a new year folks” Sike, The Rams would go on multiple losing streaks that involved a five gamer. What I’m trying to show here is, The Rams are known for not finishing off the season. They have records of 4-3, 3-3 to start the season but fall a part.
The Los Angeles Rams are currently sitting with a record of 3-1 a top the NFC West division. Seattle has a bye this week which gives the Rams an early advantage of jumping ahead in the standings. The Rams can defeat the Bills without a doubt, but remember we all said that against the 49ers Week 1.
If the Rams lose Sunday’s game and fall to 3-2, they will lose tons of momentum and gain media attention with possibly headlines of “Rams are back to them old selves” This game should be an all-or-nothing game for Fisher.
Imagine the Rams with a 4-1 record heading to Detroit to face a weak team. Now imagine a 3-2 Rams team that got embarrassed with known facts of them falling in huge losing streaks as they head to Detroit.
You get my point. The Rams season is practically on the line this Sunday. Let’s see if the Los Angeles Rams are for real.
