EA has tried to make the crowds and atmospheres more engaging in NHL 16. They’ve done this by using the actual goal songs and team salutes each team uses as well as including each team’s mascot into the game. Instead of seeing large blobs of “fans” going through repeated motions, NHL 16 will aim to use unique, diverse and realistic crowds.
Like him or not, Louie will be in NHL 16.

Of course, engaging and lively crowds are nice but the real test will be to see whether NHL 16 actually brings anything new to the table. NHL 15 was ridiculed for removing features and modes and NHL 16 claims they’ll restore these features and then some. Will NHL 16 contain enough differences to make it seem like more than just a roster update?
