Love on his new chef

The food he fixes is great, but it’s all about portion sizes and what he fixes: it’s all organic, low-fat. I can already feel the difference on the court and it’s been about three weeks since I’ve had him. I can feel the difference in my body. I’m getting leaner and I need to play above the rim more. These guys here in the NBA are longer and more athletic. I need to be able to run the floor at a high intensity.
Isaac comes to my apartment to cook. If I need something pre-prepared or something stocked or I just want fresh food or fresh vegetables at all times, he can do that. It’s all about what you ask for. You know, there are going to be times where you just want to have a steak and he’ll be, “Sure, I’ll fix you one.” But it’s regimented. He has my schedule, so he plans out a week in advance and knows when I get back from a road trip, so he’ll have something ready for me.

One of my favorite meals is fettuccini Alfredo. Now, there’s no such thing as healthy fettuccini Alfredo, but he was able to make a low-fat fettuccini Alfredo that still tasted good. So, I was very surprised about that…
