As I am packing up and getting ready to Ship Up To Boston for the day…to watch John Lackey take on Cliff Lee, I read an article about the Lowell Spinners that made me chuckle, so I thought I’d share it.
During tonight’s game, The Lowell Spinners are attempting to set the World’s Record for the most amount of people popping BUBBLE WRAP ever at one time. When fans enter the game, they are going to be given a small sheet of bubble wrap. During the third inning, fans, players and staff members will all pounce on their sheet of bubble wrap.
Snickers. And to note, the Spinners set the World Record in 2004 for the largest game ever of Duck Duck Goose.
Good luck to the Spinners..and oh yeah, I hope they win the game too.
