The Rangers have announced that Henrik Lundqvist’s game-worn Winter Classic mask raised $35,000 to benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
Lundqvist, the spokesperson for the Garden of Dreams, commissioned two masks for the nationally televised outdoor game, with the sole purpose of making the second mask available to raise funds for the Foundation.
…that’s so much money, Lundqvist could have actually used $30,000 of it to pay off Torts’ post Winter Classic rant fine and still had $5,000 for the Garden of Dreams.
…great job as always by Lundqvist.
