Mag 7 II

I know that looks like a link to Magazine bought at 7-11, but it’s a John Oesher column.

2) Looking better. Among the main storylines of the off-season was the development of defensive tackle Fili Moala. A second-round selection in the 2009 NFL Draft from Southern California, Moala played sparingly as a rookie and was very up front in the off-season about being disappointed in the season and about wanting to improve. So far in camp, Moala has looked significantly better and he seemed far more active and acclimated against the 49ers. The emergence hasn’t gone unnoticed by his teammates. “Defensive tackle is one of the hardest positions to adjust to, and he kind of struggled a little bit,” Colts second-year cornerback Jerraud Powers said. “You look at him now – he’s flying around and having fun. You can tell he’s more relaxed out there and having fun.”
