The Red Sox are showing some interest in outfielder Magglio Ordonez. He might me the right-handed hitter the Red Sox are looking for to platoon with Cameron and Kalish. The deal would make sense if they are going to save some money by not going after Crawford and still try to land Russell Martin.
Ordonez is a Boras client and may demand more than the Red Sox are willing to pay though.
