Magnus Paajarvi was injured during the Blues' 6-1 win over the Nashville Predators. Paajarvi was crunched into the boards and exited with an upper-body injury. News surrounding Paajarvi's injury has been fairly sparse.

The Post-Dispatch reports that Paajarvi's injury is considered to be "significant" and will keep him out of the lineup for at least a few games.

Ken Hitchcock on the injury:

"(Paajarvi) got whacked into the boards there. He's got a pretty good upper-body injury right now."

Hitchcock's comments don't shed any new light on the injury, but it's clear we should expect Paajarvi to miss some time. How much time he will miss is yet to be determined. It's also unclear why the team is being so secretive with the details surrounding Paajarvi's injury. The ol' upper-body description doesn't tell us much.

Paajarvi has appeared in four games with the Blues and is a (-1).
