WWE star Bray Wyatt, who is most famously known for being the leader of the cult faction The Wyatt Family, has been off WWE TV since his most recent tag team partner, Matt Hardy took a hiatus from in-ring competition due to injury.
Wyatt was last seen in a WWE ring back in July of this year, and during his time off, he has kept fans scratching their heads with sporadic, cryptic Tweets, leaving the WWE Universe wondering if and when The Eater of Worlds will make his return to the ring. Wyatt’s most recent Tweet seemed to cryptically suggest he might be finished with WWE, but that does not appear to be the case, despite the ominous “goodbye” in the Tweet.

Immediately after the above Tweet, Wyatt seemed to dispel the belief that he might be finished with WWE when he wrote, “To all that have loved and supported us we say thank you. And ask that you have faith in us. I was put on this Earth to fix it, to change it. And I will not die until this is so. Goodbye my brothers and sisters. The journey is far from over.”
According to PWInsider, Bray Wyatt is scheduled to return to a WWE ring during the holiday live event tour kicking off the day after Christmas. Wyatt is scheduled to appear at numerous holiday live events, and might even compete in matches against John Cena, who will also be making his WWE in-ring return during the holiday tour.
[lawrence-related id=851813]It’s worth noting that as of this writing there remains no word as to when Wyatt is expected to return to WWE TV. Talents like Wyatt and Cena are likely being brought in for the holiday live events to assist in ticket sales with WWE’s currently depleted roster of top stars. However, with Wyatt scheduled to return to the road with the company following Christmas, it’s very possible his live event return could foreshadow a TV return in the near future.
