The Red Sox have narrowed the search for a manager down to two candidates; Bobby Valentine and Gene Lamont. Everything points to Valentine being the front-runner and Lamont only there if a deal can’t be worked out with Bobby V. Look for the final announcement to come on Monday or Tuesday.
