The news broke last night that former Sox MVP Manny Ramirez had been arrested in his Florida home on what was initially reported as a domestic dispute with his wife, Juliana. Later it was reported that he was charged with battery against his wife. He allegedly hit her in the head and then her head hit the backboard of the bed during the altercation.

Manny was released from Broward County Jail this morning on $2500 bail and there is a current order of protection meaning he can make no contact with his wife.
WEEI also has the released 911 call made by his wife last night. I’m not a huge fan of 911 call becoming public knowledge, but it’s out there.
