Manny Ramirez’ to-do list;

1) Piss off every fan of the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday
2) Piss off every fan of the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday

Mission accomplished, Manny.

Tuesday night, Ramirez earned the ire of Indians fans by over-admiring his home run, a blast that was so historic, it allowed writers to say Boston had been merely “hammered” by Cleveland, instead of “embarrassed”.

Wednesday night, Ramirez irrited all of Massachusetts by claiming it’s “no big deal” if the Indians eliminate Boston from the ALCS. He went on to say “It doesn’t happen, so who cares? There’s always next year. It’s not like it’s the end of the world.”

I’m thinking Boston fans and front-office staff can come up with 18 million reasons this year that he should give a damn.
