The Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings came to a trade agreement today. The deal will send Guard Marcus Thornton to the Nets for Forward Reggie Evans and Guard Jason Terry.
Thornton, a free agent after next season is averaging 8.3 ppg this season and is only a few years removed from 20 ppg. He is set to become a UFA after next season.
Reggie Evans one of the leagues best when it comes to Grit has become ostracized in the Nets rotation. He has only seen game time in 6 of his last 8. He also as another year left on his contract.
Jason Terry who is also part of the deal is struggling as well when it comes to minutes. He is averaging 4.8 ppg this year and has not been himself. Coming along with him is his 6 million dollar salary for the next two years.
