The past couple of years I have found myself somewhat glued and addicted to the annual Mario Marathon, a video gaming marathon with a bunch of guys in Indiana playing Super Mario Brothers games in order to raise money for Child’s Play Charity. You can read all about it here. This year marks the fifth year the guys are setting aside some vacation time and spare time to dedicate their efforts to helping to raise money to help kids in need.
So here is the deal. Mario Marathon can keep track of the donations that come through various websites, so we are going to get in the mix. We encourage you to spare a couple bucks if you can for this worthy cause, and knowing that Penn Staters will stop what they are doing in order to help children in need and given the record numbers experienced by THON this past spring, I would hope that we will see some good donations filter through here.
Feel free to watch the team work their way through some Super Mario games, but consider donating a buck or two. It can go a long way to helping out.
