From Pro Football Talk:

The 2009 Heisman Trophy winner has made his first Pro Bowl.

Saints tailback Mark Ingram has been named to the roster, the team said Monday. He replaces Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, who is out of the game on account of Seattle making the Super Bowl.

The 25-year-old Ingram set career-highs in carries (226), rushing yards (964) and rushing TDs (nine) in 2014. He also caught 29 passes for 145 yards, both career-bests. Ingram is an unrestricted free agent at season’s end.

That’s big for Ingram who will have a little more ammunition in asking for a big contract this offseason. He’s the first Saints running back to go to the Pro Bowl since Deuce McAllister in 2003.
