According to a report out of the Bayshore Broadcasting News Centre, Senators assistant coach Mark Reeds passed away after battling cancer.
The cancer that Mark suffered from was undisclosed, but the battle had gone on for years. Recently, the 55-year old took a leave of absence from the team when it was revealed that he had inoperable cancer.
Hoping for the best for Sens assistant coach Mark Reeds as he deals with inoperable cancer. A highly-respected hockey man & friend to many.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsIt’s terribly tragic news.
At this time, no details are available concerning his funeral or where donations can be made in memory of Mark’s life. Should they become available, I’ll post them on the website.
My thoughts and condolences go out to the Senators organization and Reeds’ family and friends.
