Marquis Daniels?

Just throwing names out there as they become available.  The latest one, according to the Indy Star (via FanHouse), is Marquis Daniels.  He has a $7.5 million team option… which the team will not pick up. 

So the 6’6″, 200 lb Daniels is now available.  I’m not saying we should or shouldn’t sign him.  I’m just throwing his name out there. 

Last year, he scored 13.6 ppg and 4.6 rpg while averaging 31.5 minutes per game, the most minutes of his career.  If you want to see how those minutes broke down “82 Games” style… here’s his 82games.com page.

He made $6.8 million last year.  He won’t make that next year… but he won’t exactly make the minimum either.
