Marshon Brooks is definitely one of the more intriguing pieces of last month’s franchise changing trade with the Brooklyn Nets. Originally drafted by Boston, Brooks averaged a respectable 12.6 ppg over 56 contests during the 2011-12 season-his rookie year. However his time on the hardwood was lessened drastically last season, and he only started 2 games for the Nets as opposed to 47 his rookie campaign. His minutes also dropped from 29.4 a game his first year to just over 12 last season. With Boston’s roster packed with guards, how many minutes will Brad Stevens give Brooks? This should be one of the more interesting stories during training camp. What are your thoughts on Brooks, and should he be one of Stevens’ go to guys off the Boston bench? YouTube user TheBrooklynGame put together this 2012-13 highlight video of Brooks:
