The Martin Havlat era with the St. Louis Blues didn’t last long. After two games, the announcement was made that Havlat was on unconditional waivers. A later report indicated he had left the team due to personal reasons.

There’s no indication what those reasons might be, but it’s certainly not because Havlat didn’t have gas in the tank. He looked pretty good in his two games with the Blues, scoring one goal while playing a total of just over 21 minutes across the two contests.
Hopefully whatever the personal reasons are they’re not too serious.
