Matt James has passed away, due to a fall from a balcony while he was on spring break in Panama City, Florida.
I don’t know any details- and no details are needed, as my heart goes out to the James family, his friends, and the entire Notre Dame family.
Matt was due to join the University as an incoming freshman this summer and was to be accompanied by former high school teammate, Luke Massa.
I have no more words of my own to share as I am too shocked about these events. May God bless all of those that knew Matt and may His love embrace and comfort them as well.
