Matt Millen coming to Big Ten Network

Love him or hate him, you are going to get more of him in 2015, Penn State fans. Matt Millen, a former Nittany Lion, is now a former employee of ESPN. Millen is reportedly leaving ESPN to join FOX Sports, which will come complete with a significant role at Big Ten Network.

Per John Ourand of Sports Business Daily, Millen will be the lead football analyst for the Big Ten Network alongside Kevin Kugler. He is essentially take the spot of former Minnesota head coach Glenn Mason, who may be a nice guy but was just a little too giddy at times for the job. Millen will likely bring a bit more of a balanced approach to his analysis, as he has done this job for quite some time in one capacity or another.

Millen is also going to be inserted into the mix at FOX Sports 1 as the network continues to give its college football coverage. It has improved dramatically in the short time the network has been around. The addition of Millen should be a decent one for the entire FOX Sports team, and he can be a versatile member of the team with NFL commentary, college football analysis and more for FS1 and BTN.

Surely our friends over at Awful Announcing, or maybe even The Student Section, will have some thoughts on this at some point.
