Never too early for some roundball news and notes!
New Jersey’s LaQuinton Ross was down to West Virginia, Baylor, and Ohio State, he ended the suspense and committed to the Buckeyes. With Anthony Davis spurning the Buckeyes and going to Kentucky it certainly opened up a spot for the a 6’8” wing with a ton of potential. Some of his highlights here.
Ross is the second recruit in the 2011 class, along with Shannon Scott. Matta is still looking for a Big to round out the class, and Chicago’s Sam Thompson seems to be at the top of the wish list right now.
