MAURICE “MIGHTY MO” HOOKER: OFFICIAL WEIGHTS AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN ON GENNADY GOLOVKIN MIDDLEWEIGHT UNIFICATION CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT

The official weights are in and Dallas’ Super Lightweight Maurice “Mighty Mo” Hooker (18-0-2, 14 KO’s) will be defending his WBO/NABO Super Lightweight Title against Ghislain Maduma (17-1,11 KO’s) at the mecca of boxing at Madison Square Garden this Saturday in New York. Hooker, the next Tommy the “Hit Man” Hearns, tipped the scales at a lean and mean 139.4 pounds and his opponent came in at 139.2.

Mighty Mo will be on the undercard of this mega event where World Middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (33-0, 30 KO’s) will be attempting to unify the middleweight belts against David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KO’s). Golovkin is clearly showing the world that he is becoming the next biggest draw in boxing with his exciting fighting style, his undefeated record and his 91% KO ratio.

Also on the Co-Main event, WBC Flyweight champion Roman “El Chocolatito” Gonzalez (43-0, 37 KOs) from Nicaragua, who was voted as the No. 1 fighter in the world by ‪ESPN.com‬‬, Ring Magazine, USA Today and others, will fight against Brian Viloria, who has won four world titles in two weight divisions.
