With her career-high 8th three-pointer of the game, UConn Huskies sophomore Maya Moore hit the 1,000 point plateau in her career. She did it in just 55 games which is the fastest in UConn women’s history.
Moore had come into the game today against Syracuse needing 29 points and that 8th three-pointer of the afternoon gave her the milestone.
Former Husky Svetlana Abrosimova was the fastest Husky to score 1,000 points when she did it in just 63 games.
