It’s widely known that Conor McGregor desires only the finest things in life, so he probably doesn’t mind paying $150,000 for bottled water.  Well, hopefully he doesn’t mind, because that’s what tossing a water bottle at Nate Diaz at the UFC 202 press conference ended up costing him.  The Nevada Athletic Commission hit him with a $150,000 fine along with 50 hours of community service for his part in the bottle throwing melee that broke out on August 17th inside the MGM Grand Copperfield Theatre.  The fine represents 5% of McGregor’s $3,000,000 purse for UFC 202.

How badly his counterpart Diaz will get slapped for his half of the brouhaha is yet to be seen, as his hearing has been postponed.
