McKelvin the scapegoat?

If there is any player who is feeling the brunt of fan criticism today, it’s Leodis McKelvin. I don’t have a problem with McKelvin returing the kickoff with 2:06 remaining. It made sense, considering the Patriots had all 3 of their timeouts and by returning the ball it would take away the 2 minute warning timeout away from the Patriots. Unfortunately, what McKelvin did that was  inexcusable was he kept fighting after he was hit. Once McKelvin got hit, he should of collapsed like he had a heart attack. Instead, he kept fighting right into the Patriots hands. Once the turnover happened, the game was over in my mind. Was McKelvin the scapegoat? No. He was just the herder next to the goat.
