Cornerback Leodis McKelvin on injured reserve ending his 2009 season. McKelvin suffered a cracked bone in his right fibula during last Sunday’s game and could not return. Head coach Dick Jauron indicated this past Monday that McKelvin would be out indefinitely. Apparently the club felt the recovery for the second-year cornerback would be long enough that injured reserve was a legitimate option.

Huge loss for the Bills. Not only as a corner, but in the kick return game. We’ve all seen what Roscoe Parrish has done filling in on kick off returns. I also hope this isn’t a Poz situation from his rookie year. If you remember, Poz broke his arm in week 3 and was put on IR, and had told reporters in early December he could of came back. The Bills are severely banged up in the secondary and are going to have to call on their reserves.
Meanwhile, can you think of a player to have such a bad three game stretch then McKelvin. And we aren’t even talking on the field. Look for either Drayton Florence or Ashton Youboty to take over.
