Today was open practice and media day for the 2010 edition of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Dispatch’s Ken Gordon has the updates from camp, including insights on some of the younger player seeing some action:
…it was more interesting to see who was filling up the second-team spots. That gives you a clue which players are emerging as key backups.
To that end, the second team offensive line was Marcus Hall at left tackle, Sam Longo at left guard, Corey Linsley at center, Jack Mewhort at right guard and Josh Kerr at right tackle.
The second-team defense went like this:
DE: Melvin Fellows, Solomon Thomas
DT: Garrett Goebel, Adam Bellamy
LB: Andrew Sweat, Dorian Bell, Storm Klein
CB: Travis Howard, Donnie Evege
S: Aaron Gant, C.J. Barnett
Following practice was media day- as always, Josh Winslow has the photos nailed down:
So great to see Tyler in the Scarlet and Gray again… what a difference a year makes.
I’m not really sure what’s happening here… although I’m pretty confident there’s some retracting going on.
TP seemed to have a good time- here’s the scoring connection:
And now, for this week’s caption contest- feel free to let us know in the captions what you think this is all about (remember, we’re a family website):
