It’s been an interesting year here at the The Buckeye Battlecry… and we couldn’t be more greatful.
In spite of the 12 months of hell that Ohio State fans have been through beginning 12/23/10, we’ve also been blessed with a growth in staff and in the number folks dropping by our little corner of the interwebs. We’re on target to hit numbers for our year that will echo what previously took years to achieve. And while it’s true that “if it bleeds, it leads” and bad news sells, I’m also thankful that people who ended up here found coverage and commentary that encouraged them to come back, to invite others, and to share their thoughts with us.
The greatest gift we’ve received today and every day is you– your eyeballs on our work. There are a lot of great OSU websites and message boards out there, but you have chosen to spend some of your days with us… and we’re still amazed by that. People really want to know what we’re thinking about their favorite team? Wow.
So, for our “regulars” and the folks who check in via their RSS reader, for our Facebook and G+ and Twitter friends, for the gang that joins the online sports bar that are the livechats, and for the other members of the Buckeye Blog-o-sphere who are both a blast to work with and great support for tBBC and all Ohio State fans, we are eternally thankful.
May this Christmas season be a blessing to you and your families as well. Thanks for including us in your online adventures.
