Michael Carter-Williams in the first half against the Houston Rockets looked a bit rattled under pressure. In the first half alone he turned the ball over 6 times. That was due to constant ball pressure of the Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley. In the second half it was a whole different story. Carter-Williams came out and attacked. He got to the line 11 times in this game. Yes I said it 11 times! This is a good sign for the Sixers because , last year the Sixers were among the league worst in free throws attempted. That doesn’t tell the whole story.
Carter-Williams carried the Sixers with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists & 9 turnovers. He was a complete beast out there. Despite Carter-Williams’ huge game, the Sixers came up short and lost to the Houston Rockets 88-80. I see a lot of potential in Carter Williams game. He attacks the basket and finishes around the rim. Carter Williams also know how to take charge and take over the team when needed to do so. If Carter-Williams works on his turnovers he will be a amazing player in the NBA. I don’t really rave about players like this but Carter-Williams showcased amazing talent.
