MSU had a chance to run out the clock at the end of the game, too, but instead decided to run up the score. Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio didn’t hold back after the game [via Maize N Brew]:
“As far as the score at the end, we knew we were going to pop one,” he said. “They had everyone up there so we popped one. Just felt like we needed to put a stake in them. You might as well just come out and say what you are feeling at some point because you can only be diplomatic for so long.”
Good for Michigan State. Michigan is a parody of itself these days and it’s embarrassing to be a fan.
