Terry Francona forced Adrian Beltre to take a night off after his collision last night with Jeremy Hermida. With Beltre out you would think Mike Lowell would finally get back in the lineup but that was not the case as Tito opted to shift Youk to third and have V-Mart play first.
If Lowell can’t get into the lineup when Betre is hurting there is little reason to keep him on the team. The Red Sox need to find a way to trade him while he still has some value.
