In this day and age, it seems like everyone and everything gets its own meme. As such, it should be no surprise that Mike Trout now has a burgeoning meme in his honor, what with him being the best player alive and all. The new trend taking Twitter by storm is #Trouting, which is basically taking pictures of themselves striking a pose that resemble the famous photo of Trout running hard from first base as you can see in this example here (which appears to be patient zero of this new fad):

I kind of hate most memes and this one seems pretty contrived, so I'm kind of hoping it doesn't really catch on. On the other hand, it would be nice to have an Angels-related meme that isn't depressing as the current leader on that front, the "Sad Josh Hamilton" meme.
So, yeah, maybe "Trouting" isn't all that bad.
