Milwaukee Brewers start Spring Training soon, looking for more consistent success in 2015

After being in first place of the National League Central Division for the majority of the 2014 season, the Milwaukee Brewers let their lead slip away in the final months. After going 51-33 in the first four months of the season, the Brewers finished July, August and September with a 31-47 record and didn’t qualify for the playoffs.

Jonathan Lucroy was the Brewers biggest surprise, as the fifth-year catcher had a breakout season, finishing fourth in the NL MVP voting and earned a spot on his first All-Star team. Lucroy hit .301 and led the league with 53 doubles.

The Brewers will look to contend with their strong outfield, consisting of Ryan Braun, Carlos Gomez and Khris Davis, along with two top of the rotation starters in Kyle Lohse and Matt Garza.
