MLB Investigates Adam Jones After Outrageous Comments

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the rights to freedom of expression which includes freedom of speech. Therefore, you have the right to express yourself freely without facing any consequences no matter how absurd or illogical your opinions may be, right? Well, in Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones case, this statement is absolutely false.

This past Tuesday at Yankee Stadium a fan jumped from the stands and ran onto the field. Of course, the trespasser was subdued and arrested for his foolish actions. Lets be honest, how many times have we’ve seen someone jump from the stands onto the field in their regular attire or in some strange wacky costume; rather it be at a baseball game or football game? The answer to that question is too many times.

Adam Jones has spoken out on his feelings regarding this situation.

“I think it’s idiotic for people to run on the field and I think the punishment needs to be a lot harsher and they should let us have a shot to kick them with our metal spikes on, cause it’s stupid. I get it, your drunk and you want to be on Sportscenter. Your [obscene] is going to jail with a fine, you might not be allowed to come back to the ballpark. That’s heads up.”

“And I remember a couple of years ago, one dude broke his ankle in Baltimore. I was laughing at him. I wish he shattered his femur because it’s stupid, it’s just point blank stupid. And anybody who does it, I wish the cops tased the living [obscene] out of them. I wish that.”

Jones was later asked what people who trespass punishment should be. Jones responded back with jail time and a $20,000 fine. At this present time, Jones is still under investigation by the MLB for his comments. Let’s hope Camden Yards seats are still packed to the max with fans. They may not all necessarily be Adam Jones fans, but fans that are there in support of the very talented Baltimore Orioles baseball team.
