On Wednesday, the official network of Major League Baseball will co-produce the Cincinnati Reds-Oakland A’s game with MLB.com and air the game across the country with no local blackouts. In addition, MLB Tonight host Matt Vasgersian comes out of the studio to call the game with the Mayor, Sean Casey. Casey is a former Reds player.

The game, part of MLB Network’s 14 Interleague games in 12 days, will be a joint production by MLB Network and MLB.com with MLB Network’s Matt Vasgersian and former Reds’ three-time All-Star Sean Casey calling the game.MLB Network will provide bonus coverage of the Washington Nationals hosting the Kansas City Royals at 4:30 p.m. ET. Nationals’ pitcher Stephen Strasburg is probable to make his fourth Major League start at Nationals Park. In his first three appearances, Strasburg is 2-0 with 32 strikeouts in 19 and one-third innings pitched. The 32 strikeouts is a Major League record, surpassing former Astros’ pitcher J.R. Richard, who struck out 29 batters in his first three outings in 1971.Following the game, MLB Network will air MLB Tonight, MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning signature nightly studio show with look-ins at live games, highlights and analysis. MLB Network’s bonus coverage of the Nationals game will be blacked out in the Nationals’, Royals’, Reds’ and Athletics’ home television territories and viewers in those select markets will continue to see the remainder of the Reds at Athletics game.
