With a hat tip to “Swap of the Table”, where jerseys are swapped, we wanted to create a community where MLS fans could come together to participate in the tradition of swapping scarves. A lot of fans can’t make it on road trips to various MLS stadiums to trade scarves with fellow supporters. With that being said we are creating a “virtual stadium” if you will, a meeting place for people to find scarves and trade them.
Here’s how it will work.
- Find a scarf (or scarves) you’d like to trade.
- Tweet a picture of your scarf with a brief description.
- Use the hashtag #MLSscarf in your tweet.
- Find other people looking to trade using the hashtag or by following our account (we will RT scarves that are available for trade).
- Make a deal!
- Once you make a deal, send the other person your scarf and then receive your new scarf.
The postal service will probably be the easiest way to send and receive scarves but you can ultimately decide that with the person you trade with.
We love the community of Major League Soccer fans and hope many new friendships (and new scarves) will come from this Xchange.
