Just like riding a bike, it always comes back.
- I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a pitcher pulled when he was throwing a no-hitter, but that’s exactly what happened to Kevin Slowey of the Twins yesterday. If anything, the guys at Twinkie Town are buying manager Ron Gardenhire’s reasoning for why he did it.
- The Tigers recalled reliever Daniel Schlereth from Triple A Toledo after yesterday’s win against the White Sox. They sent OF Jeff Fraizer back down to the minors, a move that most will agree was long overdue.
- Don’t look now, but apparently Magic Johnson is interested in becoming a minority owner of the Pistons. I like the idea, especially since Magic won’t be one to move the Pistons to another city at the drop of a hat.
- I still don’t know who Audrina Partridge is or what she does, and I don’t really care (read: too lazy to Google). All I know or care about is that she looks like this.
- Ryan Weiss of Winging It In Motown is looking a bit ahead and pondering whether the Red Wings would spend a year or two playing in the Palace of Auburn Hills… provided that Mike Illitch buys the Pistons.
- The Baltimore Orioles, once again relevant thanks to a 9-2 record under new manager Buck Showalter, wore some bright orange
jumpsuitsuniforms this weekend. Unlike with their performance in the 5-0 victory, the skipper wasn’t pleased with that night’s unis.
- This is a few days old, but once again The 19 at A2Y are opening up their wallets for a good reason. They’re looking to send Red Wings
beat writerblogger George Malik to the Wings’ training camp in Traverse City.
- DesigNate Robertson takes a page out of the Kissing Suzy Kolber playbook in explaining the secret meetings that Tigers GM Dave Dombrowski and owner Mike Illitch have been having recently.
Today’s videos after the jump…
MORE IDIOT FANS ON THE FIELD
Seriously, when will they just start tasing (tazing?) all of these bastards? [via SB Nation DC]
