Montee Ball set all sorts of records on Saturday in helping the Badgers win 38-14 over Purdue on their homecoming and for that he was named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Week. The award should come as no surprise as he ran for a career best 247 yards along with setting the Big Ten record for most career touchdowns and career points thanks to his three TD performance as well.
Ball broke the records of former Badger great and Heisman Trophy winner, Ron Dayne with those TD's.
Currently Ball sits just 7 TD's shy of breaking the all-time FBS TD's record currently held by Travis Prentice (78) from Miami (OH).
It's Ball's 5th career Big Ten Player of the Week award, last winning it in the final week of last season.
