Update, 10:36 a.m.:
Brendan Shanahan explains on Twitter that the reason Moore was not suspended is that it was actually Fedotenko’s own stick that hit him in the face causing the injury after Moore’s back hit into him.

…after watching the video, I’m in agreement with Shanahan’s assessment that it was in fact Feds own stick that hit him. However, I still feel Moore should be suspended for a dangerous play.

…and this is what’s wrong with the NHL. If you’re not going to send a real message to the players for head shots, they’re not going to stop. Epic fail by Shanahan.
Meanwhile, Fedotenko’s agent sent out this tweet regarding one of his clients (assuming it’s Feds)…
“The NHL Concussion Crisis: NHL client recently told me after headshot that his face was swollen, no idea day of the week or last opponent.”
…after hearing this, I doubt we’re going to see Fedotenko for awhile.
