More WSU Video from UCLA Week, Plus TV Clarified

What’s up Cougs?  Ready for the kinda/sorta holiday weekend?  Kinda/sorta in that some will not recognize Columbus Day, while others will take a knee and celebrate the Spanish explorer by taking off work for the day.  But whatever.

So the whole TV “situation” around the Oregon game appears to have finally been sorted out.  The game will be shown live, but only in Oregon and parts of Clark County, WA.  Otherwise, you are S-O-L on this one.  That is, unless you make the trek to Pullman.  As Bill Moos said in an article the other day, hey, “There’s plenty of good seats available!”

At least it will be shown on a delayed basis later in the evening, so we have that going for us.  It probably varies by where you are located, but it appears that the replay will be shown on an FSN affiliate either at 6:30 PM PST, or some reports claim it will be at 11:00 PM.  I have checked my own Comcast schedule in the Mill Creek area, and it is showing Comcast channel 179, 6:30 PM.

Anyway, no matter when they show it, we will rip some highlights for you and post them by Sunday morning, most likely.  Hopefully we’ll have some good stuff to take a look at after the fact!

Nice shot above from the Montana State game, taken by a buddy of our own Lucas Coug.   We hope to use more shots from him around here as the season progresses, so, a big thanks to Joe “Grimmace” for sharing!  And for Saturday, here’s hoping we see more crowds like what was at the Montana State game, instead of what we saw in our last home game vs. SC?

Yawn.

Anyway, thought it would be a good idea to upload a new video.  It’s more stuff from the UCLA game, ripped from the weekly show on FSN.  I always dig the sideline stuff, and they do a great job of mixing and matching the different highlights, with this week being no different.  Also a nice feature on Marquess Wilson and the hot start this kid is off to in his young NCAA career.  Did you know the 17-year old is right there amongst the Pac-10 leaders in key receiving stats?  It’s true:

Impressive for anyone, but notice how he’s the only one with “FR” by his name, while the rest are juniors and seniors?  Impressive.

Check out the video after the read more.  Enjoy!
