S Antoine Bethea was limited in practice after missing Wednesday’s workout, but he was in a jovial mood in the locker room. I asked if he was OK, and he said, “I’m doing OK. Are you OK?” Funny guy. When asked by another reporter about his status, he said with a smile, “Lots of guys miss practice then play.” True. And considering the four-man competition going on at the other safety spot with Melvin Bullitt lost for the season, I expect Bethea will be out there.
