The snow threw a bit of a wrench in the plans so this morning’s rundown will be brief.

On the site yesterday we wrapped up our expanded roundtable discussion on the Big Ten by making some bold predictions. Some of them were even focused on Penn State, which you may find interesting to read. You can go back and read any part of the Big Ten roundtable from this page.

Penn State Recruiting Updates

Penn State added another player to the Class of 2015 this week. Punter Jordan Wombacker is joining the program as a walk-on.

Right now, Penn State is ranked No. 16 in the 247 Sports Class of 2016 rankings. Chalk that up largely to a quantity over quality assessment right now. No. 1 Miami has 18 commits. Kentucky, with 13 commits, is ranked No. 4. With so long to go before next year’s signing day, plenty will change with the recruiting rankings. Penn State is still ranked second in the Big Ten behind, guess who, Ohio State.
