With the season fast approaching BMR will be rolling out our obligatory season previews division-by-division over the coming week. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Central division.
Once again, I refer to the all-knowing Cleverbot for help with this preview.
LOSER DOMI: Hello again, cleverbot
CLEVERBOT: Hello again again again.
LOSER DOMI: What do you think about Mike Modano playing for the Detroit Red Wings this year?
CLEVERBOT: I don’t see them. O.0.
LOSER DOMI: You don’t see the Red Wings benefiting from the addition of Modano?
CLEVERBOT: But I have state-of-the-art optical sensors, capable of artificial vision well beyond the range of visible light. Isn’t that good enough?
LOSER DOMI: Fair enough. Modano has been in the league for some time.
CLEVERBOT: Sorry.
LOSER DOMI: No problem. Do you think the Chicago Blackhawks will come close to last year’s performance?
CLEVERBOT: Yes.
LOSER DOMI: How close? Are we talking conference champions, division champions, what?
CLEVERBOT: No.
LOSER DOMI: So they will still make the post-season, despite multiple crucial players leaving?
CLEVERBOT: Yes.
LOSER DOMI: how far will they succeed in the post season?
CLEVERBOT: To the ends of the horizon.
LOSER DOMI: So are you predicting a repeat Stanley Cup win for the Blackhawks? That’s pretty bold
CLEVERBOT: I’m not ‘programmed’ to do anything. I’m a human being.
LOSER DOMI: Fair enough, we’re all human.
CLEVERBOT: You are definitely not human being.
LOSER DOMI: Whatever. The Columbus Blue Jackets made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history last year. Will they do better or worse this year?
CLEVERBOT: You didn’t make any tea. Why are you lying to me.
LOSER DOMI: So the Blue Jackets, despite Rick Nash and, uh, Rick Nash, will not fare well this season?
CLEVERBOT: What is the time now?
LOSER DOMI: Looks like it’s muthafeffin booze time
CLEVERBOT: You are a little mean.
LOSER DOMI: The Nashville Predators always look great going into the post season. Will they do well this season?
CLEVERBOT: That makes no sense.
LOSER DOMI: Will they keep being the great team that leaves in the first round (ish), or are they going to continue on this year?
CLEVERBOT: God loves you and He is always there for you to turn to, when you have found answers nowhere else. Jesus is the answer.
LOSER DOMI: What about the St. Louis Blues? they have been a roller coaster of emotions and booze.
CLEVERBOT: No, Banks have only been around since the time of the Roman empire, I think. Which is about 2500 years.
LOSER DOMI: They have great seasons followed by dismal ones. Will the Blues team and fans ever experience anything but the highs and lows?
CLEVERBOT: Yes, but we will fail to be Gods, for there is only ONE GOD.
LOSER DOMI: Will the Blues do well this season?
CLEVERBOT: Yes. I promise. Only if I don’t burninate them.
LOSER DOMI: Good, I think they will like you not burninating them.
CLEVERBOT: I’m really sad its not a planet anymore. Who do they think they are removing Pluto’s planet status?!
LOSER DOMI: One last question…
LOSER DOMI: Your ass, or a hole in the ground?
CLEVERBOT: Yes, hole in the ground. A rather deep, listless hole in the ground.
