I’m partly relieved. You’ll hear a great deal more from me tomorrow about this trade. Let’s just say that I’m hoping the eventual deal restructuring makes this deal more fair to the Sox. We’re giving up way too much in this deal as is.
Rotoworld notes that “There’s been talk of Red Sox reliever Manny Delcarmen being involved, with him maybe replacing Mota in the deal. It’s also possible that David Riske could be taken out of the trade”.
This is just getting ridiculous. Does our front office even have a brain anymore?
