There’s an old saying that tells people to “let sleeping dogs lie”. This is a very practical piece of advice, because a person can never really know just how mean the “dog” in question may be.

John Wick is a man in the enviable position of being comfortably retired at an early age. He has a lovely and spacious home, drives a gorgeous ’69 Mustang fastback, and pals around with his dog all day. Life seems to be pretty good.

In fact, his Mustang is such a beauty that somebody offers to buy it when he stops to fuel up one day. Sorry buddy, but Wick’s car is NOT for sale. Unfortunately for Wick, some people just can’t take no for an answer. John becomes the victim of a BRUTAL home invasion during which the perpetrators destroy his house, kill his dog, steal his car, and leave him for dead…or so they thought.

There’s one simple rule if you are going to leave someone for dead – MAKE SURE THEY ARE DEAD.

John Wick makes an expeditious decision to come out of retirement and track down the men who have done this to him. Oh, did I mention that John Wick is a former hit-man? Sorry I forgot to mention that. I’m sure that’s something these men REALLY wish THEY had known before wronging  a guy like John Wick.

John Wick features Keanu Reeves in the title role and a supporting cast that includes; Michael Nyqvist, Willem Dafoe, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo,  Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick.

Will John’s attempt to settle the score bring satisfaction, or just end up being a bloody mess. You’ll have a chance to find out when John Wick makes its way to theaters October 24th. #JohnWick
